Hi, I am new here. I have had my license for about 3 months. I know we have all been applying to jobs like crazy and not getting many opportunities back.
My question is, should we be happy to take anything we can get? Or hold out for that dream position?
I have an interview for a physician's office. While I would LOVE to do it, it is a bit farther from home than I would like, and I worry about taking less pay than I would in a hospital. On the other hand, it's a job! And I would really like one of those right now.
So what do you think? Would you be willing to take less money than you could potentially get elsewhere just to have the job?

A lot of people are taking less money because it means the difference between working and not working. Beggars can't be choosers, and people looking for work fall into the beggar category.

The market in my area is very good, luckily.....but if I were having trouble finding a job, I would take anything.

The way this economy is going you really have to take what you can get! Hold on to it until you find something better at least you'll be getting experience! Good luck!

Yes, you should jump on any job offer if you do not want to be homeless. Take what you can get and be glad for the offer.

Plus it gives you the opportunity to look for other jobs and not be so desperate about it.
