Ive got 16 years experience in gynaecology/sexual health and I dream of living in a place like the film steel Magnolia`s. Ive worked for the same employer since qualifying as an R/N and although I was born in wales and have lived in Uk all my life Ive always felt a pull to USA for some reason. If I could pack up and go now I would. Ive a 7 year old daughter called chloe and wondered if anyone had any advice??????
thanks for reading look forward to replies xxxxxxxxx:nurse:

hi and welcome
:groupwelcome:
plenty of UK nurses moving to the US and if you read the stickies at the top of this forum I am sure plenty of answers will get answered and if you can't find then ask away, also have a look in the UK forum as a couple of threads there too

Borada! Trade places with you if you live in Cardiff. I was a special constable there and I miss my friends there. If only they used NP's there like they do here. Anyway welcome.

Be prepared for 2 years plus of frustration in your quest to get out of, I take it, Cardiff & Vale?
Been at the US registration/immigration game for 28 months in the quest to get out of south Wales - nearing the end now but it's been tough.
As Anna mentioned, plenty of threads around on this part of the forum and UK. Plenty of people going through and gone through the US process around here.
Cheers
