Hey everybody!! I've been lurking here since May, (kinda creepy, ain't it?) and I thought it was time to introduce myself.

I am a nursing student, finishing up pre-req's, currently taking A&P II. This is my second go-around in college, when I went 15 years ago (gulp) I went for elementary education. I had wanted to be a nurse ever since I was 5 years old, and my mom talked me out of it. Guess what she is? That's right, she's a nurse.

I am married and have a 9 year old son. I am a stay at home mom and part time student.

Boy, have I learned alot on this board! You guys are great, and I am excited about joining your ranks someday. And yes, sjoe, I am aware of the Student Nurses forum. :chuckle

Welcome...I read the boards almost daily, but I don't post very frequently.

I'm an LVN in my LAST semester of an RN bridge program. It's gone by fast, so savor every moment.

I left my job at a Psych facility to focus on school and my girls, ages 6 & 7. My DH is career Navy so I can never tell if he's coming or going!!!

mkue, I understand you have kids @ 20 yrs old. Is that you in your avitar? If it is, you look so darn young!! It looks like a photo from a school dance or something! :)
