Helen Fuld 2020 LPN to RN and COVID 19

Published

Hi there! I am currently an LPN student and am about to graduate in a few weeks! I am absolutely continuing for my RN and am very interested in going to Helen Fuld, as they are affiliated with my current program. Does anyone know if the college will remain online indefinitely through the rest of 2020 and possibly 2021? That's most likely a premature question being that all future plans are "wait and see".

I also wanted to know how current students are doing in the program, or if they are enjoying it. I've had a rough experience in the past with an RN program that was partly due to my own mistakes (I was way too young and did not know how to properly study or critically think for that matter! ?) and partly due to frustrations within the education itself. I will also say that I have been doing very well in my current LPN program with transcript grades all above 90s, and I worry that it will be a huge ego-crusher if I start getting high 70's on all the tests.

If anyone wouldn't mind shedding some light on how you are managing in this program, or in the same boat as I am, that would be great to share information. ? Thank you!

I totally agree about the schedule thats what I was trying to get from them a concrete response about the evening schedule but have not gotten a response. If u go to the sonis helene website go under courses and u will se the schedule.. Im no longer considering going into Helene... it sucks because I have wasted around 3000, in between the pre requisite classes and books, and castle branch is alot that I feel I have wasted my money on .. I wish they would of been more clear on there schedule and more professional on their responses ...

I agree! I’m considering changing as well. Where are you thinking of going? I really want to do a quicker program.

Hey I’m considering going to this program next year. Is this thread saying that they no longer have an evening program ?

Mmm.. its not sure I would say, call them and find out. They are not very straight forward from my experience.

Did anyone attend or apply to the program without doing A&P and Microbiology ? I have all the other humanity courses done but was wondering if taking A&P and Micro with the nursing classes would be too much while working PRN

Yeah I’ve decided not to attend here. I’m going to apply to WCC instead.

They actually do have evening classes.. starts at 6pm and ends at 8:30pm

Thank you for that update

Thanks for this update

Capella goes based off of quarter credits as colleges go based off of semester credits. For example I have 90 semester credits it will equal 135 quarter credits. According to the counselor I spoke to you need 130 "quarter credits" in order to only require the 6 core nursing class, so others may need additional classes.

Hi everyone,

Does anyone who is currently attending Helene Fuld Lpn to RN program, are the classes online and is the TEAS exam online?

Thanks
