Congress is debating the health care bill possibilities. Of course, the first thing they did is take the only viable option, the public option, off the table. I'm not extremely optimistic that anything will come out of this. In the end, it will either die or end up being a few fake regulations that insurance companies will just spend a ton of money getting around. As Howard Dean said, the Senate bill is simply a bail out for the insurance company. It will jack up prices even more and cost federal tax money to enforce. IMO, the only way to fix the current health care mess is with a public option. Anything less will just be a bust.

i'd whether have the government (bureaucracy) managing what care i get rather than an insurance company (greedy), it's the lesser of two evils.
i guess people haven't seen their insurance coverage dwindle over the years as the insurance cost rise, i know i have.

I don't want the government telling me how to handle my healthcare. We need to rein in costs, but the public option isn't the way as far as I'm concerned.
We need something done.
But having been a nurse for almost 18 years, I honestly am stumped on the answer.
