I didn't really get a chance to meet her. I was in the group that stayed in the auditorium.
Do you know how long we will be in class on that Wed.? I have some appointments & was hoping it was more a "housekeeping" type day. Go over syllabus, clinical, books, uniforms, turn in forms, etc. I'd love it if we got out early & I didn't have to rearrange everything!
I had in my notes from orientation to read chapters 1-5 in Perry/Potter. Also, someone mentioned going over the Clincal Calculations text.
Have you purchased your books yet?
its4show - good luck at SPC!
RDW - congrats on your acceptance! we'll keep you posted on how it goes if we get a chance to breathe!
my understanding is that rn program evening classes run from 5-8 pm two nights a week for 3 out of 4 semesters plus a 10-12 hour clinical on saturdays. the third semester adds an additional evening. on the dale mabry campus, the nights are tuesday and wednesday with monday as the additional for semester 3. on plant city campus, the nights are monday and wednesday with tuesday added.
the dale mabry program only start each january, with 4 semesters of nursing classes in the (spring, fall, spring and fall - no summer classes), so it takes a full 2 years to complete the nursing program once you have finished your pre-reqs. i'm not sure how the plant city campus program is structured.
best of luck! i can't wait to start.

Hey there! I'd just like to see who on allnurses.com is in the Tampa or Plant City HCC RN Program, either current, just accepted, or graduated...
I'm starting this August as a new student, and hopefully this thread would be a great place for us to network with other HCC students online!
