I am taking the HESI test on the 28th and I was wondering if anyone who has taken this test has any info they can share with me. Such as, how are the questions per subject, and how did you prepare for it. I have been studying for all subjects on the exam, but any other info would be great! thanx
thanks, i take the test next month. the reason i asked because a lot of students took the test at hcc and they all complained about the hesi book they bought from the school.:nuke:
I just took the HESI at HCC. The study guide is plenty for the grammar and math sections. The reading was pretty easy, well I thought so. What I did for the reading was I did a lot of practice tests from THEA, COMPASS, SAT, and NET. The specific website I used was: http://www.testprepreview.com/nursing_practice.htm
As for the A&P section, the HESI study guide is NO help at all! I was very dissapointed. I think what saved me was that I used websites that had reviews... I thought the hesi study guide was wayyy to basic!! I was so right. I would def. focus on this section.
Im guessing you will be taking pharmacology in the fall?
Is there an English language or grammar section to that test? I hope not, for your sake.
I know this is just the internet, and not school, but I wish people would recognize that this is a forum for a profession/for professionals, and make an attempt to appear professional.
Too many people are getting wrapped up in a "well, it's good enough!" internet mentality, and I have to wonder how they'll ever pass nursing school.
