HCC Fall 2011

I have been trying to get into PHCC. So far no luck. I dont have all my pre req's yet but trying to finish them up soon. :)

How does HCC work do you take the TEAS test??

What are the GPA's running lately to get into the program??

Every year it's different I heard. Last year's cutoff was at a 3.2 something. However, I heard that the fall it's usually higher because of the number of applicants that apply tend to apply more in the fall than the spring. That's not good news for me as I have a 3.23. I am also applying at St. Pete college just in case. I was told that they will accept students up to the first day of class as unforeseen things happen at the last minute. There is hope, and I sure hope that I will get an opportunity the first time around because St. Pete college is a bit of a drive for me and I don't know of any other schools near the Brandon/riverview area besides private colleges. Does anyone have any info about any other good schools for RN?

Hi there, there is also another Fall 2011 board started. I turned my application in last week and am beginning to get really antsy as to hear if I got in, so my whole life can be turned upside down. haha.

Asknfortrbl- you said you applied last time. Was that for the spring term, if so, what was your GPA and also did you have to submit another app fee? I'm asking bcuz I'm afraid I won't be getting in this term, so I'm preparing to apply for the spring.

I wanna say the gpa cutoff for spring was 3.4, and yes you have to pay the fee everytime you apply

They changed the math as well you now need Mac 1105 or higher
