Hello!!!!!! Is anyone starting their ADN program this spring or summer at HCC Coleman in Houston, Tx?

When you were given the go ahead to enroll in pharmacology did you have a choice between multiple classes and professors?[/quote']

Yes... They give you the go ahead but it'll be on a specific date and time so all have a fair chance to choose their class that they want.

Thanks for the info gelibean. I guess all I can do now is nervously await a response of any kind.

Do you think a 3.8 GPA and Teas scores in the 80's for all sections is good enough?

Yes! I think those are good enough. My gpa when I applied was 2.9 and my teas were 80's and 70's.

They'll add people since pharmacology will really weed out the weak students

I am anxiously awaiting as well. I have a 3.5 gpa but my teas were in the 70's.

Best of luck to you jb! Try to keep us posted with any news you receive. I will do the same.

Hey Gelibean, just out of curiosity, how many days/hours a week are you at campus or in clinicals?

We were there Monday - Wednesday for the first 8 weeks:

Monday: Fundamentals (8-12), Health Assessment (3-5)

Tuesday: Fundamentals (8-12)

Wednesday: Fundamentals (8-12), Health Assessment (3-5)

Second 8 weeks:

Tuesday: Clinical Lab (This was for the first 3 weeks) 8-4

Tuesday: Clinical Site 6:30-3:30

Had a quick question guys. What class did you all take to satisfy the humanities pre-req? I took HUMA 1301 at HCC and applied just fine but today I had a councilor tell me that even though that class is called a humanities course, it does not count as a humanities credit.... very confusing.
