HCC Coleman Health and Sciences

HCC Coleman is no longer doing a summer start for their program. They are doing spring and fall starts only. Hopefully I will begin their program in Fall 2013. I take pharmacology this semester, starts next week. :up:

Ooh ok, well I hope you do well. I actually received my acceptance letter on Nov and I'm starting as a transfer student this summer with Med Surg I. I've attended the first orientation on Dec 7, 2012.

Ooh ok. You're coming in as a transfer. I thought you meant new students to the program completely. Good luck to you as well. How did you like the orientation? Was it informative?

Thanks. The orientation was informative enough. The secretary was helpful and so were the other instructors that spoke with us. Make sure you complete your checklist (shots, physical, background check, cpr) right away once accepted bc I noticed several individuals did not and may have problems meeting the deadline, which is tom.

Thanks for the heads up. I always forget about the shots and cpr. I still have to get my background check done as well. I'm excited tho. One step closer to my dream ! :)

Get your background check as soon as you can. It took some individuals a month or so to receive it in the mail. I did mine in mid July and didn't receive mine until the end of August because of the post office. The later the semester, the BON becomes more busy due to students submitting at once.

Shots.... Make sure you have titers or vaccinations done as well.

Cool. It was a little hectic, but I managed to get everything done and then I left. I will be meeting back up with you guys this summer for Med Surg I. Good luck with Basic and Health Assessment.

That's good! Yes I though it was a little hectic too :/

It's like they don't even double check anything either, just send you to do the stuff and go.

We have med-surg I this summer?? Wow! Already jumping into it... Do you know what other classes we take? I thought we did mental health.
