Hello!!!!!! Is anyone starting their ADN program this spring or summer at HCC Coleman in Houston, Tx?
awesome! thank you!is it very hard to be admitted into the program?
As long as you meet the requirements (pre requisites, gpa etc) and pass pharmacology, then it shouldn't be hard to get in.
Pharmacology really weeds out a lot of people so make sure you're breathing and living pharm the whole semester. Lol.
Excuse me guys, but I'm applying for the upcoming spring semester like you all did. I applied earlier today and was told I wouldn't be contacted until sometime in August to take Pharm, but doesn't Pharm START in August? Was there plenty of time after being contacted to still enroll in the class without fear of it filling up?
I'm just wondering how it went with you guys because I'm very nervous about being too late to enroll.
That's how it is... You'll receive an email sometime close to the start of the semester to sign up. They send an email to all on what day registration will be open etc... Yes I know the anticipation will kill you that they won't email y'all until really close to the date but they will.
And just make sure you sign up when they tell you to. They usually will have space for everyone that received the email since you need to be preapproved and have permission to register for the class. So not everyone can just sign up for it, you need permission from the ADN dept.

Btw 99.9-100% of the time, as long as you've taken pharm and passed you are pretty much accepted into the program; as long as you have the other stuff done as well (Bon clearance card, immunizations, physical, pre requisites which you should have already completed to even take pharm, etc)
