Hcc ADN Spring 2018

Nursing Students School Programs

Published

Hello all!

I'm creating this forum so that everyone who applied/is interested in Houston Community College's ADN nursing program can have a resource for info.

Currently I am listed as a 'Alternate status'. I'm not sure what it means exactly, but I'm guessing that its a pending acceptance.

If you applied or have any questions, please leave a comment below.

For the students who are already in the program, if I already had the hep B vaccines when I was I child do I have to go ahead and get the adult dosage? or should I be fine with just those? I sent ms. January an email but it was no help.

For the students that have been accepted:

Are they really strict in the gpa->> or is it a case by case basis.

@Almost_RN_ANA Have you seen a forum for fall 2018 ? I've looked everywhere

Hi everyone,

I just want to start my prequisite for nursing at HCC .please I need advice on how many credit hour I will be taking, which course should i start with and if i can finish it within summer and fall semester

For those of you in the program, how's it going? The only reviews (from 2016 to early 2017) I've seen are pretty scary. I'd like to hear things have gotten better. I've applied for Fall 2018.

Hey Guys,

I'm in the nursing program at HCC right now... and I just want to ask how long did you wait until you were permitted to take the NCLEX exam ?
