HCC ADN Program (Fall 08)

For those of us who are now in the HCC ADN program! :D

I called like 4x this morning and no answer up there! UGHHH Anyone heard anything new yet?

i bought the 8th ed... I dont thin there is much of a difference though. I bought the whole package at majors just bc the deal was pretty good. I did order the clinical companion (different from the clinical manual; pocket size and convenient for clinicals) earlier this week- I found it pretty cheap online! Majors had it for $30 or so.

I am trying to read but I cannot focus...anyone having this issue? The break is too long and too good :)

I totally understand I am also having a hard time reading. I guess it feels so good to finally have a break!!! I am really going to try to focus tomorrow so I can at least be a little ahead. :p

Hope everyone is enjoying the few days we have left!

I think the day program is doing PEDI first.

I also heard that Ms. Grant is coming back :) THANK GOD... bc she is straight to the point.

Really I hope Ms. Grant is coming back!!!! I hope we can get our slips tomorrow!! Thanks for the great info. Is Ms Grant going to teach our class?

Yup, it looks like she will be there weekly. Ms. John, Ms. Mosqueda, Ms. Rich, and Ms. Grant will be the theory faculty. I am not sure if shes doing clinicals...

It is great news! I am super excited bc shes truly an awesome teacher. She let us record her over the summer in pharm and I hope she still does! When she explains things, they are just crystal clear.

I can't seem to concentrate. I am trying to get alot done around here before class starts. Spending time with the fam, cleaning, etc. What about you?

I'm in the same boat as you I have been trying to concentrate I just have so many other things to get done before school starts so I can give school most of my attention. I got the first couple of chapters read and I also studied the math so I guess that should be okay well I at least hope that is okay.:confused:

Did any of you on allnurses receive a phone call from the ADN office? They called a few of my friends and they HAVE TO switch to the evening classes for the semester. RIDICULOUS.

Wow I didn't get any phone call but I guess that is the hold up on the yellow slips, too many students:confused:
