HCC ADN Program (Fall 08)

Everybody the math grades are now posted!!!! Also there is another quiz which isn't due until Monday!!!

Did anyone happen to catch the details of the Foundations tutors? When and where are the sessions?

My test grade has not posted yet!! ughhhhhhhhh.

Am I looking in the right place?? lol

I pulled a 100 on the math, but only because I caught a mistake right as I was getting up to turn my test in. I think everyone did pretty well. I know of a few people that missed 90 by only a few points, so I'm sure they'll pull it out next week.

I agree, the math test was EASY!!! :)

Does anyone else now have "RNSG 1001" showing up on their Blackboard homepage?

It seems like some sort of clinical orientation.

Has anyone got their clinical shoes already? I have decided on the white leather chucks. My clinical instructor is happy with them... and as long as I can avoid wearing clogs for another semester I'm happy, too!!

I hope everyone is ok after the storm. We were blessed to have minimal damage out here in Katy. Do all of you guys have electricity?

I wonder what HCC plans on doing as far as us catching up for clinical skills!!! Clinicals are around the corner.

Heck no! I have been reading and reading some more. My major weakness are the ethics/legal/teacher sections. Mainly having issues maintaining the info. Other than that, I guess I am okay.

Hey blackboard is shut down I guess we have to continue our updates on here!!! Anybody got pedi and OB books yet?

Hope everyone did well the first semester; 4 more to go... ughhhhh!

I got my Pedi books today at Majors. I bought all 3 books on the list. I don't even think they are all necessary but whatever I bought them anyway. Its a pretty small book compared to our Foundations book. I wonder why pedi is soo hard to begin with? BC of the 8 weeks? I hear about 25% pass! That is crazy.

I m looking forward to go to nursing programme at HCC. I dont know how the whole process is gonna go. Wht should I study for HESI test.

And how long this whole process is gonna take.
