Hi Everyone!

I just got accepted into the New Graduate RN program at Kendall Regional and wanted to know if anyone else has done this program and your experiences (good, bad ect). Also, any advice???? I'm super nervous!!!

Thanks! :)

Most days 8-5 combination of didactic and simulation. On your days off you have at home study days.

How many days a week did you have actual class?

24/30 days roughly. I'm still in the program finishing up the didactic and going on to the floor with a preceptor in 2 weeks.

Sorry 30 days is the total didactic 6 weeks so every week we would have 1-2 at home days while some weeks we wouldn't have any.

Hi! I'll be starting the StaRN program for Raulerson Hospital in January 2015. I have a question for people who got accepted: Did you sign a contract prior to beginning the Program? Or at least got an official offer?

Thanks!

Signed a contract yes and I got a letter via email.

Thanks sugar12!

I also wanted to ask Did any of you get relocation assistance?

I don't think relocation assistance is offered but not 100 percent sure. U also take a pay cut during training too entire 13 weeks until u finish the program and start working at the hospital. Just another FYI.

Oh, I heard that. It's like $15-18/hour, from what I've heard.

Oh okay great. I forgot you have already been offered a position and probably got that info. Hope you will enjoy the program as much as I do. Good luck in all your endeavors. :-) Feel free to ask any other questions that come up.

Thank you for answering sugar12
