Hello! I couldnt find an HBU forum for Spring 2019.
I am in the process of applying and just took my HESI and these were my scores:
Grammar 90
Reading 84
Math 88
I was originally planning to apply for Fall 2019, but since i passed my HESI i figured I could apply. I am re-taking AP2 this fall since I got a C the first time. So i have a low opportunity of getting accepted, I believe.
Thanks! What were your stats like? I'm still trying to figure out UTH's formula for acceptance. So if you get into UTH are you going? I'm not sure what to do since the HBU letter is due 10/8.
Yours are way better than mine lol
Hesi:94
Overall GPA:3.5
Science:4.0 (micro in progress)
That's where I am so confused about. I am unsure if we can accept and then forfeit after hearing back from UTHS. It does sound kinda harsh being that we got accepted to HBU FIRST then forfeiting.
Congratulations to everyone. I received my acceptance email yesterday but I'm also waiting on UTH. Either way I'm happy to be accepted into HBU I was afraid no school would take me.
Congratulations!!!! I am excited as well. I'm only afraid of not choosing the right school for me but nursing school is nursing school. We will make it count :)
To everyone that received an acceptance email, did you also receive an email from identoGO - Texas Board of Nurse Examiners about a fingerprinting service? I'm assuming it was sent with HBU acceptances, but I wanted to be sure it's not some spam email. The HBU acceptance email I received didn't mention this specific service.

Yes I received it before the acceptance letter. I believe it was the school. I am unsure if we have to take care of it prior to orientation.
I turned in my acceptance letter in today. I know its not due until the 8th of October but I don't see UTH giving us an answer before then, and to be honest my goal is to be the best nurse I can possibly be regardless of what school I attend. i know people say nursing school is hard and stressful but i think that the process before being accepted is just as nerve recking lol. i hope everyone here is doing better than i am. Sometimes I can be over dramatic lol. Has anyone crated a Castle Branch account? Is anyone missing their immunization records because I can't seem to find mine. I wonder if I would have to get the vaccines all over again?

I haven't created one yet, bc I was wondering if I should wait until I hear back from UTH to completing the other steps.
Those of y'all that have returned the acceptance letter via email, did you get any sort of confirmation from HBU that they received it? I sent it Monday late afternoon, and was thinking I would receive some sort of confirmation email.
