HBU Spring 2019

Hello! I couldnt find an HBU forum for Spring 2019.

I am in the process of applying and just took my HESI and these were my scores:

Grammar 90

Reading 84

Math 88

I was originally planning to apply for Fall 2019, but since i passed my HESI i figured I could apply. I am re-taking AP2 this fall since I got a C the first time. So i have a low opportunity of getting accepted, I believe.

Hello jenhxo

We moved your thread to the Schools/Colleges forum for the best response.

Good luck at HBU!

Hi!

I'm glad you started a thread, because I've had a tough time finding anyone talking about HBU. Do you know anything about their acceptance rates? I'm wondering how hard it is to get in.

Hi,

I also planned on entering Fall 2019, but I completed my hesi in time.

Grammar:84

Math: 92

Reading:98

Anatomy:92

Critical Thinking:920/1000

91.50%

Fingers crossed!

I'm planning on applying, but I still need to take my Critical Thinking portion for the Hesi. I'm also applying to UTH for Spring 2019, so I had taken the Hesi under their code. I graduated back in 2005 from USC with double degrees in Business and Psychology, so it's been interesting being back in school taking these pre-reqs. Here are my stats:

Nursing pre-reqs GPA: 4.0

Science GPA: 4.0

Hesi:

Overall Hesi: 98%

AP: 100

Math: 98

Vocab: 100

Grammar: 100

Reading comprehension: 92

Does anyone know what the acceptance rate is typically? What do they base their acceptances off of?

On their website it says that they accept about 50 students per term.

@jenhxo I have applied and received my acceptance email. anyone else received theirs?

I received my acceptance letter today. Did you get in ?

I also got an acceptance email this afternoon! Relieved that I will be starting a nursing program for sure in January. I'm still waiting to hear back from UTH though.

Same here. You have amazing scores. Do you know when they will let us know? I've been logging in often.

I received my acceptance letter as well.

Awesome, are you accepting? Or are you waiting for another school.

Thanks! What were your stats like? I'm still trying to figure out UTH's formula for acceptance. So if you get into UTH are you going? I'm not sure what to do since the HBU letter is due 10/8.
