Have You Finished Your Taxes?

Does your state require that your state taxes be paid in order for your license to be valid?

I am so glad we have a few extra days this year, as I encountered a serious technical problem, very time-consuming, with the program I use.

Never again, though. I will just do a paper return and technology be damned!

I have them done early every year.

I was married to a small business owner and tax time was always so anxiety ridden, much in part due to his idea of book keeping was having a grocery bag of receipts and lost bank statements (pre online banking and Quickbooks).

Once I was on my own with a simple W2, I make sure tax time is behind me as soon as possible. Having them prepared is expensive but worth it to me.
