Have you made good friends while in Nursing School?

I made some great friends in the program and I have at least 3 classmates that I'm very close with and I can say will actually be dear friends for the long term, even when I move back home. I'm pretty good friends with some other classmates, good acquaintances with most of my class (know everyone's name etc.), and there are a few that honestly bug me (every class has 'em) ;)

I don't have any family or close non-nursing friends where my college is at, so I'm pretty deeply involved with my program and everyone in it. Nursing school is often an gossipy, competitive soap opera, but right now its definitely a huge part of my life & I'm so blessed to have good friends in it!

If you meet a few good friends during school keep in touch with them. When you are working as New Grads it helps to get together still and have people that understand and have that support. I don't know how I would have made it past this last year without my 2 best friends I met in first semester.
