And nothing. At all. Anyone know how I can get this application mailed to me? I have followed the directions for contacting the board to get an application 4 times now, and apparently am being ignored. I do not have time to drive all the way to Baltimore for an entire day, and am getting a bit testy about this. I need the stupid license for an online Masters I am applying to.

I live in MD and work in PA. I considered working closer to home, but after months of phone calls (to voicemail boxes-mostly unanswered), emails, faxes, etc. after all that effort and no endorsement, I gave up. The few times I was able to speak to a human at the BON I was given incorrect information on procedures. The recruiter at the MD hospital that offered me a job says this is normal for the BON. This isn't exactly helping the nursing shortage in MD.

Maryland started this year, to require background checks for everyone. This has slowed their normally slow response to just about no response.

A-MEN to that. They didn't process my CNA application until 1 week AFTER my temporary lisence expired..so I couldn't work. Then they went haywire and sent me 7 copies of my hard lisence...lol.
Every person I emailed there- the email would bounce back with " out of office" messages from DECEMBER. This was just last month!
BON is pulling-hair-out worthy.
