Thanks for posting. Good luck to us all. I've found out that we should get a notice probably via email by the end of this month or early June if we got accepted. The entry level MSN 2010 have already received their emails last week, but the application due date was on April 2nd.
I heard that the school accepts 20+ students for the FNP as direct acceptance to CSULB and another 20 through the outreach or CCPE (I can't remember specifically, they tell you this during the information session) due to the state budget. FNP is competitive as it is more favorable among candidates.
I got accepted to the AGNP program. Alison told me that they accepted 29 students for the program. There were a total of 200 students got accepted for the various Master programs. But that is not finalized yet. Due to the state budget cut, the final decision will be made by the University. Just keep our fingers crossed!

Good grief---are you saying that this school would accept students but then rescind the acceptance because of state budget cuts?
I've heard of various programs that have been suspended or cut altogether because of state budget issues but that seems rather cruel and short-sighted to accept someone and then not have the slots available.
I applied too. Good luck to everyone as well. Does anyone know what criteria they look at? Do they just go by GPA? Has anyone heard what the average GPA is for the FNP option? I also applied to Fresno State and I've already heard back so I'm just waiting on CSULA and CSULB so I can make a decision.

Hello,
I've applied for the CSULB FNP Fall 2010 program and spoke to Allison, graduate coordinator who said applicants might not be notified until as late as mid-April. Does anyone knows of anything else? Do applicants have interviews? I heard that EL-MSN applicants might.
Thank you.
