Has your hospital ever ran out of something before COVID

How long did it last and was it a local, state, or national shortage?

Usually it was manufacturer back order. We always got a replacement of some sort. Right now we are stocked with Sure wick (???) instead of prima fit. There's always something new.

As much as I hated them, I so wish for yellow PPE gowns LOL

Me too!! We have new blue ones that are made out of the same material as garbage bags and go down to the floor and are soooo sweaty. I miss the yellow so bad! Guess you don't know what you've got til it's gone haha

We ran out of male urinals. I didn't even know we had female urinals until we had nothing else to use. It was a pretty innocuous shortage though LOL.
