Has anyone had to wait long for results and still passed?

I could have written the thread "Panic Attack"

I took my test Wed. and today is Friday. I looked online this morning at 7am and nothing was there. My friend who took them the same day is already posted online with his RN permit.

My temp. permit still says "in good standing"

My state does not participate in the quick results. I called the State Board today and they said sometimes there is just a glitch in the computers and some are automatically posted, some have to be manually and could take up to 30 days. She also said it does not mean pass or fail, it is just random.

The lady at Pearson Vue told us if we don't know by the 2nd day, then we probably failed. The lady at State Boards said this is simply not true.

I am sick-I've had the runs since taking them. I couldn't finish last rounds at work this morning because I was going to throw up. My preceptor had to finish for me.

I had 75 questions, and like "Panic Attack" said, I felt like I was critical guessing. I did have a buttload of - prioritizing patients and couple med questions. 1 math, about 5 pick all that apply.

I am just so sick- I thought I failed- then I thought No- I did fine. Now today with the whole not knowing thing.

Has anyone ever heard of this not finding out right away and still passing?

I am so afraid that I am that one person in the world who just bombed and failed with 75 questions. Oh goodness. I might go crazy not knowing either way.

I took my boards last Thursday (6/29) and still have no results, but two of my classmates who took it on the same day/time/location had their names posted on the website today (7/8). I totally understand how you feel. I haven't had the runs, but I did catch a head cold from worrying. Now that I see their names up, I feel even sicker!!! I, however, had 102 questions, and I feel like I guessed on a majority of the questions (like 80%?) so I am REALLY freaking out. My friend (who just passed at 75) had 7 select all that apply--which she would always get wrong on practice tests. She said she thinks she even got the very first question wrong. I'm counting on the BON's website being random. Otherwise, I better start looking for a new job!!! I'm starting to have nightmares about the whole thing!!!

Good luck!

Have you heard anything yet?

Today is day 5 and I've still not heard anything. I emeailed BON today, and not received a reply yet. My next step is to take a drive out there!

Just kidding- probably 9 hours away!

I keep going from panic to "come on you did fine" to oh well, no big deal- I'll just have to take it again. I am still going crazy not knowing.

A girl at work said it took a few weeks to get her passing result back.

I'm still so nervous.

I don't wish the torture of waiting for the results upon anyone!!! I made myself sick waiting and checking online every day!! I had to wait nine miserable days for my results. California is pretty random, but I'm guessing in every state, the BON may be busy from all the new grads taking their boards, they probably have an influx of paperwork, emails, and phone calls. I hope your results come in soon!
