Hi All,
I was wondering if anyone has taken the NCLEX-Rn review by the Hurst Review. I have been reading other forums on the Kaplan review, and they are offering a course at our school for us after we graduate. I talked to some nurses and even a nurse recruiter and they have me a little reluctant to sign up for Kaplan, because they say the course depends on the instructor teaching. How is the Hurst review? Me and two other classmates are debating whether to take this one instead, because at a hospital we had clinicals at, 100% of the nurses who had taken this one, passed their first time. I want first hand opinions though. So....
Hurst Review or Kaplan Review.
Thanks in advance.

The Hurst Review is GREAT! If you're not strong in patho, you will be! She's fun to listen to with her M I S S I S S I P P I accent too. I purchased it online so that I could listen to content areas over and over again that I was weak in. You can't go wrong...

I did the Hurst review two years ago and I loved it! She has a very entertaining style, which makes it EASY to get through the modules--not dry and boring at all. I kept my notes, and now use them to review material with my daughter who is in nursing school.
Hurst and the Saunders book (review/CD) were the only resources I used, and I passed at 75 questions.
Best of luck!
Thanks both of you.
Me and some classmates are trying to work out all of us
going to a Hurst review for 4 days. i think we all have Saunders too,
so I hope we will do okay.
Thanks

I did the Hurst online review, after the first time of taking Nclex and failing. I have also retook boards 2 times and failed. She keeps you entertained, I have alot of friends that took Hurst that passed, just didn't work for me. Good Luck.
