I sit for this test on Jan 31. If anyone has advice on how or what to study I greatly need it. I'm working full-time which leaves me not much time to study. Say a prayer for me and THANKS!!!!!
this link should help you find where your closest testing centers are:

Hi Kenzy, There are very good study guides available with which you can prepare for CLEP Human Growth and Development Exam.
One you can find on CLEP Human Growth and Development Exam | Undergraduate Tests
Hope this would help you. Thanks.

The original post is from 2007. Pretty sure it's no longer an issue. :)
I have a bachelor's in exercise science from FSU but I had to take the CLEP for human growth and development to get into nursing school. Even though I took Child Growth and Development in addition to Adolescent Growth and Development (totaling 6 credit hours), I still had to take it this test to satisfy this pre-req.
I used the REA book and I scored 95% or higher on all the practice exams but I only got a 60 on the exam. I felt super prepared while taking this exam but for anyone who's planning on taking this exam, I wish I would have used this prep book in addition to one of my college text books.
I took an adulthood and aging class two years ago in college, in addition to having taken the sociology clep and intro to psych....I am taking the human growth and dev. clep tomorrow, and wasn't able to study more than a few days because I had been told I could take it over the summer as a prereq for my 2nd semester of my nursing program, but was informed last week that it is instead a corequisite for 1st semester (!). As much as I hate cramming, I'm just telling myself to focus on Piaget and the stuff from my clep test prep book (thank goodness I had that beforehand!), and hopefully I'll be able to make at least a 50/80.
