Has anyone taken A&P online?

I don't have any experiences with Zoology, but I am taking A&P I (Bio201) online this semester and will take A&P II (Bio202) online next semester through CCConline. I love it! Labs in my current class are viewing many slides online and then writing a paper, answering specific "lab" questions and submitting that. We have weekly assignments and quizzes. It is a lot of fun, but you need to be self-motivated and you need to be ok with not having the "hands-on" portion. If you have any specific questions, let me know & I will be happy to answer based on my experience. :) Best of luck!

thanks for replying! I think the classes your taking is the same as the ones i'm going to take..there just different names. I just looked at my school and it seems that they aren't offering the Lab online. Just the class :scrying: I was hoping not to have to attend in school. sucks! :bluecry1:

You're welcome. Check out CCConline - you can go through them even if you are out of state - you just have to pay out of state tuition. The program is wonderful! Either way - enjoy.

I'm taking A&P I online and I also LOVE it! You should ask the instructor about the lab. Our course schedule says that our labs are supposed to meet Saturday from 9-3 but it is only once a month and OPTIONAL. We do have to take all of our tests in a learning center but they are willing to help you out if you are a distance student.

i'm going to ask about it because this current semester they are offering the Lab online...but next semester it doesn't show the Lab online.

Probably. The class is three hours, and the teacher spends the first 15 or so minutes going over the information we had been studying that week. Everything seems to click once she explains it.

They have the hybrid option at my school as well - but I really like the 100% online stuff. I think I have also heard of Edukan as having a 100% online program.

I took Anatomy on campus, but I am taking Physiology (my school splits them up) online to avoid a professor with a bad rep. It is actually harder than the class I think because it is all essay questions to turn in, but i think I am learning more than those who are in the campus class, so I don't mind. I already got into nursing school so as long as a I get a C I'm ok. I think I'm going to get a B though.
