I tend to think of it in terms of effectiveness. Am I learning the material? Is it enough to pass? Is it working?
I study in rapid succession and that works for me. I took 3 exams in one week. Doing more than one at a time is possible, but it really seems more like regular college, which I'm doing on top of the exams. It's a little slower. Also, I find my mind, my focus, is a little more scattered as I study that way.
Right now, I'm working on Chronicity and Micro, but mostly on Micro since I will take that exam first.
What are you working on now?

i just finished micro and transitions. i was thinking of working on chronicity and health safety at the same time, and testing about a week apart. maybe test on the one i am more solid on first and spend the next week brushing up on the other.
i dont think i would test the same day, but i would at least like to get the exams done as close to two at a time as i can. but, of course you are right about learning it and effectiveness. i completely agree. i'm trying to stay motivated and get through quickly, because i am afraid that years are going to go by and i won't be finished.
