Anyone get there results back from CA. and sat this week for the exam. I sat on Monday the 9th and still have no results. How scary, i'm trembling with the thought of failure. I studied so hard and felt very prepared but after the test i was not as confident. Anyhow thanks for any replys.

Hey Diz, Yeah I sat Tuesday in CA. No results yet and Im about to drive my wife batty. All I've been able to do since Weds. is sleep, and gripe. Just curious do you or anyone else know if one doesn't pass will they revoke your IP at the same time or will it still show up on the BRN site as valid for a period of time? I'm really at my wits end with the wating. Monday is a holiday and I don't think I can take much more of this. Good luck to you.

Hey I_wheat,

from what i understand the minute you officially fail the nclex (gosh i hate using those words) your IP goes void. I could be wrong, not sure where i got that info from but i belive i heard it from someone. IM driving my wife batty also. This is horrible.

I noticed that the Cali BON is closed the 12 and 16th. Im assuming they will not be posting results through this time? Its a bit confusing because when i check the licence verification site , it shows on top that they are updating.....geeeee, i need to just go crawl in a hole somewhere for a week.

If the office is closed, then there is no one there to evaluate your file and issue a license number to you. So things will not get posted then as well.

Average wait time for the BRN is a full ten days, when they are not closed for extra days.

Technically, the IP ceases to exist when one writes the NCLEX exam. You either pass it and will become an RN, or you will no longer be able to use it since you did not pass. You are essentially given a grace period until you get your results. As soon as you do receive them and you do not pass, then you must immediately notify your supervisor and cease to work in that role of the IP.

Hopefully, this will not happen. But it is how things are done.

p.s. remember that they were already closed the first Friday of the month, so everything is going to be delayed if you add in these two days as well as closure on the third Friday as well.

Hi, I took the NCLEX on a Tues (2/10) and was feeling even more nervous and anxious when I didn't see my name after waiting for three days. My friend who took the nclex on Mon (2/9) told me that the Ca BRN said that they will have an updated list on Saturday. I didn't believe it since the website says that it only updates from Monday-Friday. But I checked anyway at 6am this morning...and to my surprise, I saw my name--I PASSED!!! My friend also passed! It is possible that your names are posted since we took it around the same time. So, you might not have to wait another week afterall. BEST OF LUCK TO THE BOTH OF YOU!!!

I took my test Wednesday (2/11) and saw my name on the site this morning (2/14) :D
