Hello,
ive be been somewhat freaking out about this. My GPA isn't the greatest because I didn't always care about school. I've taken all the classes that are pre reqs for chamberlain and have got my cumulative gpa to a 2.87... My HESI overall is a 78% but with English and Math I'm at a 86%. I know my
chances aren't looking good, so I was wondering what others gpa and Hesi scores were when they were accepted? I'd also like to know what your scores were if you were rejected. I applied for the spring semester about 4 weeks ago and I wrote a letter explaining why I did not do well my first year of college.
Any advice or comments are seriously appreciated!!
Thanks!!!

Not sure about the campus where you are at but here in Houston, the gpa to get in is a mere (2.0). And the Hesi passing score must be at least 75%. Seems to me that you are more than qualified for our Chamberlain campus! good luck

Hey... In NJ the requirement for entry are a GPA of 2.5 and I think you have to score atleast 80% on the Hesi exam for mainly the math, reading, and vocabulary. If you took your prerequisites already, you should be in. Maybe the board hasn't viewed your file yet.

Hi, im literally on the same boat with you. My gpa is about the same I scored pretty high on the hesi. But I received a call today from an advisor saying the admissions committee put my application on hold and I wont get a call back until November. My heart sank.. my guess is that they're looking for students with a higher gpa before they accept me. Stay positive and good luck to you!!
I haven't heard back yet. I'll probably be in the same position as you then I wish you luck I'll let you when they contact me, it should be this week though. Which campus are you applying to?
Thanks, and yes let me know what they say. I've applied to the NJ campus, how about you?
I applied to Addison and just found out today that I've been accepted!
Congratulations to you !!!!

She said she got in!
I was told by my advisor at Chamberlain that even if your GPA is borderline, doing really well on the HESI may grant you admission. My overall GPA is 2.63 (failed pre-med major :'() and the official GPA requirement here is 2.75. I recently took the HESI and got a 95% overall. I am first going to try to see if I get into a CC and if not I will officially submit my application here. I'll let you know how it goes!
