Ready to say forget everyone and everything and start school!!!!
ugghhhhh... I'm SICK and TIRED of just being here for everyone. I have kids and a husband(which i love with my whole heart) that needs me indefinitely to cook, clean, be at every event, eat lunch at school with the kids, stay at home with the baby, and help run the business when our employees are sick or off schedule.. Lets look at it, im 29 years old going on 30. I need a career of my own. I'm planning on starting nursing school this coming january but I'm starting to think that my hubby wants me to wait a little longer until our 8th mth old baby is older! Because of social media making daycares look bad with all the horror stories on the news, he's concerned about our babies safety while I'm at school and him being at work. I'm concerned as well, but we cant go on in life worried about the what-ifs! My life has passed me up and then passed up for years! Does anyone else have this issue about having to put your life on hold forever for your family? How are you managing to deal with the fact that you have to constantly put your loved ones before your needs? I'm getting stressed!!

Has anyone been rejected from chamberlain?
Not sure about the campus where you are at but here in Houston, the gpa to get in is a mere (2.0). And the Hesi passing score must be at least 75%. Seems to me that you are more than qualified for our Chamberlain campus! good luck

Chamberlain Nursing School Acceptance (Houston Campus)
I'm applying to chamberlain Houston campus as well. I heard they don't worry about anything else on the hesi besides math, reading, grammar. That's it. So it doesn't matter if you pass science, a&p etc. But I would definitely try my best on those anyway. Good luck! !

Not risky as in course content difficulty. I mean risky as in the waiting list part for actual nursing school. I agree about taking prereqs at a CC. That would be what i will do.

I have never been to college except when i was younger i went to a vocational school for medical assisting which i had to drop out because i was young with 2 kids at the time with no help from their dad. now i'm married with 2 more kids and i desperately need a career. i cant depend on my husband forever. I was looking into to Chamberlain College of Nursing in Houston because there are no waiting lists. I can not afford to take risks at a CC at this point and age of my Life. What I'm asking is if there is anyone out here like me that is in nursing school now or have graduated? how tough is it with mutiple kids? My husband is very supportive and we can now afford for me to attend school but money isn't the issue. I'm just nervous that it'll be too overwhelming with all these kids we have.
