:typingIt doesnt matter how many question you have to answer the computer only grades you on the last 60 questions. It keeps asking you questions until it feels you have met enough precentage of safe practice by their standards. Try not to freak yourself out, you have already done the hard part you took the test, now just do something to take your mind off of it, even thought it sounds impossible. You cant change it now! Good Luck!!!
I just took the nclex exam this past thursday and walked out of the testing center almost 100% sure that I failed, I got all 265 questions and it seemed that I was getting so many questions that I had no idea what the answer was and at times I felt as if I was guessing and wishing the exam was over! But do not despair because I just found out this morning that I passed! It doesn't matter how many questions you get just think for the best and hope that you are one of the 85% who pass the first try. Good luck to everyone on the nclex!
so out of 205 questions, how many are you allowed to miss in order to pass?
That is not how the CAT exams are scored. All that test will get 50% correct and 50% incorrect; it is the level that the majority of your correct answers are at that determines if you pass or not. This is the easiest explanation that I know of.
15 are sample questions on both the RN as well as the PN exam and do not count, but no one knows which are the 15 on their exam.
Hope that this helps explain it.
