  1. Have you found any info about this subject. If so would you pass it on cause I was wondering the same thing
  2. Does anyone know if an LPN can contract their own self out. Please let me know.
  3. Has any LPN out there ever contract themselves out to do home nunrsing visits on there own? And if so how did you get started? I know that there is alot of money in contracting your services out. Please help me I live in Kentucky.
  4. I know how you feel. I have been an LPN for 8 years. I took all 205 questions on that test. When I left out of that place I cried like a baby thinking I didn't pass. But I did and just have faith you did to. I wish you luck.
  5. Where is that travel agency located at? I hope you don't mind me asking
  6. What travel agency did you go threw for an LPN. I would love to do that if I was not married.
  7. I can say it scares you when you go up to 205 cause I went threw that feeling all my classmates was telling me they cut off around 85-90 and mine went to 205 boy was i crying but I passed and I have been a nurse for almost 5yrs now so don't sweat it. Anything is possible good luck
  8. When I became a CMA I didn't know anything about meds I learn alot in that course I took because I had a teacher that cared. and about that adverse effect occurs in 1 out of 4 well just think that just don't mean for med techs that means for us all.
  9. You know some of you nurses are closed minded. I'm glad when I was a CMA I had some great LPN and RNs that helped me grow into the LPN I am today. Yes I passed pills in LTC and if I didn't understand something I could go ask but tell me what LPN or RN knows all the answer to everything tell me what doctor knows everything. Open your mind and the world would be a better place.
  10. Here in KY we call them CMA certified medication aide and before I became an lpn i was one. Here you go threw a pharmacology class that is almost as much as the lpn goes threw. Don't put them down to you know who they are I far as the pay that is a bit different. I would fuss awhole lot in the DON place. Hope you do alright with her.
  11. If you can get a hold of the U.S. News magizine Aug.the 26th issue they have an article about Spalding.Or get on the wbsite http://www.usnews.com Hope this helps the tuition is kind of high. :angryfire
  12. My daughter graduted from Spalding in May not under the nursing program but under another one. She thought Spalding was very good. It was one of the top colleges in the U.S. I have thought about checking it out myself for the RN program. Hope that helps
  13. Please let me know what a SRMC program is I'm an LPN but I would like to become an RN.
  14. Can anyone of you all have a website for DCN. I'm looking for a nursing school that is online. It would not bother me to go to St Louis for a couple days at the end of the semester. Please help.
  15. I can hontestly say B-Green don't pay really good. I would jump on Central State if I was you cause to get in with the state you have some good benifits. unless you don't care about that. I can say Louisville pays the besteven from an LPN stand point. Look in the wanted ads in the newspapers. Wish you good luck
