Just wondering if anyone has heard from Columbia--I know we should be hearing soon--thought I would hear Friday??

Yup, you have to let them know if you accept. The cut-off for accepting is the around the end of the first week in Feb.
I interviewed mid-December.

I am also wait listed and this is the most excruciating week ever trying to wait for them to call. SICUTOCRNA, do you know how many are we on the waitlist? Do you have any info how many are they accepting into the program this year? Thanks!!!
I believe 32 is what they said at the interview. Feb 6 is the deadline to respond so hopefully the list moves along from the declines and I will see you in May
BEST BEST of luck to you both! :plsebeg:
Thanks pasero! I have no idea how many people are wait-listed--wish I did! At first I thought they wait-listed everyone that interviews--but I know from another sight that someone interviewed and did not get in (and wasn't wait-listed). A friend told me only a handful of people get wait-listed--but that is probably just speculation. So now we wait---------------------I am so not good at waiting:icon_roll
Feb 6 is gonna be this Friday. They are suppose to call us on Feb 9 if ever we get in. I hope I will see you this May!!!!

I've been wait-listed also. They told me they were accepting 36 people this year but that there was an unusually high number of ETPs also this year. I'm keeping my fingers crossed! :-) This is the only place I want to go so if I don't get in this year I'll be reapplying next year!
I wonder if the 36 includes the ETP students? I think they still need to earn their BSN, pass their NCLEX & have a 1 year experience in an ICU. I know someone who said that they only interviewed 50 this year, and I wonder if the 14 are on the waitlist. 5 more days to go and well find out. I'm also keeping my fingers crossed.
it is supposed to. They said that they only had room for 32 including ETP I guess they got more clinical spots.
CRNA2b11--I spoke to someone on another sight--they pm'd me and told me they interviewed and did not get accepted and they did not get wait-listed. So I do not think they wait-listed all 14.
