I just saw the job posting part of this site, so figured I'd throw this out there.

I met someone on here who keyed me in to a job and I applied and got the job.
I asked because I feel that most online jobs ad are BS- but in here, I used to work for some places with ads, and they are not the type to play games and post bogus want ads.

I don't have any experience with the ads, but the networking that you do on here can definitely get you leads on jobs.
Networking is 'da bomb' for sure- but people in here use false identies, etc., for a good reason. In fact- I'm about as 'Suzie' as Bruce Willis would be as 'Sally'. Never too sure, dealing online. Tough to network when you don't even know a person's sex, much less anything else?
True. That's something that has to be handled with caution. I once helped someone find a position after seeing several hundred productive posts. I guess I would have been pretty embarrassed if she had shown up to interview with a beard, an Adam's apple and a man's name. :)
Thought for the day:
Courage doesn't always roar. Sometimes courage is the quiet thought, that at the end of the day says:

So, you ARE a ...quarterback in the NFL?
