Hi, I was just interested in regard to an experience I had in clinical the other day. I am an LPN student and we had a pt w/a prolapsed rectum. This pt is a retired RN and wanted everyone of the students to see what had happened to her rectum. She said that not every one gets to see one or have heard of it. I gather this is not a common occurance, can anyone share what they know? Thanks!

Like I mentioned in the title, the pic is very graphic. So if you're squeamish or easily offended, don't view it.
**link removed** (per OP)
I've seen that before, but..... :barf01: ...That is pretty extreme. (thanks for the link :chuckle )
That is not what it would typically look like, right??
BTW, you guys probably want to stay away from the links at the bottom of that page, too. ......(Or not, whatever)

Oh shoot! Sorry about that! I didn't even look down below the pic to see what was on the rest of the page. :imbar
I'm going to have to edit the link for general viewing. If anyone needs it, PM me.
Again, sorry about the links and other assorted info below the pic.
