Has anyone ever gotten "the good pop up" and failed?

Nursing Students NCLEX

Hey everyone,

I took the NCLEX PN today and my computer shut off at 85 questions, and I got the good pop up. I'm pretty sure I passed, but I was just curious as to how accurate the "good pop up."

What is the "good pop up"?

What is the "good pop up"?

The good pop is, when you take your nclex and afterwards you try to register for another nclex test... If you have passed, a pop up will come up and say: our records indicate that you recently scheduled an exam. Another registration can not be made at this time. Contact you BON.

If you failed, it will bring you to a page where you put in your credit card info..:(

Hi Kailyn and Koslilk1

I took my NCLEX on 2/13 in California. I got the good pop up on pearsonvue.com, however my name is not on the CA BRN website. Starting to worry here too. Everyone keeps telling I passes because of the pearson, but I need to see my name!

Hi guys, so I took NCLEX RN on Feb 11. I have called the BON mulitple times just to find out they didtnt have my transcripts til today!? Does anyone know how long it might take not that my file is "officially" complete?

Took my exam today for the second time, the first time I got up to 75 questions and learned that I failed.

Today I got up to 203 questions before the computer cut off.

Of course I wanted to put this "good pop up" to the test, so I tried to register again and I got the good pop up :)

I am excited but I still need to see the real results before I can relax.....this has been some journey

shelbycanino- i called the board multiple times yesterday and finally got a hold of an operator.. apparently they didnt get my transcripts. so something like that couldve happened to you.. so i would def give them a call.

Hi aprarlato08,

I finally got through found that my transcript were missing too. Called my school to confirm they sent them. They had sent them via USPS certified mail. Call CA BRN back, got through, transferred to the evaluator that was handling my paperwork. She continued to tell me that my transcripts were not there. I told her that my school verified that they were sent. She then proceeded to put me on hold for 10min! Came back on the phone to tell me the transcripts "were here the entire time"! >:(. So, she told me she would "verify my file and I would be able to check my results in 2-7 days". If I "didn't have a license in 7 days I should consider studying again".....NICE customer Service!!!! Anyway, I did indeed pass my NCLEX, but what an ordeal! 14 days to wait for my results. That's just crazy! I passed, I'm grateful.

Lessoned learned. ALWAYS, ALWAYS, FOLLOW-UP WITH THE BRN TO MAKE SURE YOUR FILE IS COMPLETE TO AVOID DELAY IN YOUR NCLEX RESULTS.

For those of you wondering about the pearsonvue trick. I got the good pop-up (i.e. I was not able to re-register for the exam about an hour after I took it. I finished my exam in approx. 120 questions and 2 hrs.

The trick works. 12 of us in my cohort took the NCLEX, 12 of us got the good pop-up, 12 of us pass so far. :) Good Luck to everyone!

I am so happy to hear the Pearson re-registering trick works. I've been following the postings on this website since I started my ADN program January 2011. I just graduated January 7, 2013 and I took the NCLEX Saturday March 2, 2013. I got the "good pop up." And I'm anxiously awaiting my results, hence my post at almost 1 o'clock in the morning in NJ. I tried the trick like 10 times, I can't register for the test again, so I really hope I passed ;) So excited but so nervous :/
