Harris County Hospital District nurse intern position is up from March 1st through the 28th.

to anyone who has interviewed: do you know approximately when they would let us know if they want us for a second interview or not? i was afraid to ask my interviewer last week and the wait is killing me! thanks!

I was told they would let us know by May 1 if we were to get a second interview, and that the second interview would be a peer interview with the unit.

Does anyone know the starting pay at Ben Taub?

The medical center is pretty close in pay for each hospital so guess about 26-28hr

they called me today for a second interview on thursday. I think thats when they're doing all the second round interviews because alot of my friends got the same call.

Hi. I had an interview with Ben Taub last week for the Med Surg internship for new grads and the interview went really well. The interviewer was a clinical nurse manager on one of the med surg floors and she just went through my resume with me. She asked a few clinical nursing questions, but nothing too difficult at all. She actually gave a verbal offer at the end of the interview and told me that HR should call by Tuesday or Wednesday of this week. So, we'll see! Does anyone else have any updates for Ben Taub?

I also interviewed w med surg and got asked similar questions. I thought the interview went well, but I wasn't given a verbal offer at the end. She did ask me to give her my top 3 choices of med surg units I wanted, but I think that was standard amongst all interviewees. Hopefully I'll get a call back this week!
