Hard to plan summer when our school still hasn't sent acceptances!

As a mom with three kids, it is frustrating not to know about school. We have tentative plans to be away for four weeks but am hesitant to book it based on school stuff. If I get in I'll have to take teas but I have no idea when or where. Are there many schools that haven't notified applicants or am I the only one waiting?

Where did you apply? Did they say when they were sending letters out? I took my teas right after I submitted my application. It was part of the admission to the school.

Most of us that take the TEAS have to take it before we even apply. Why dont you just go ahead and take it now? ati's website will tell you where testing centers are in your area (its also where you pay for the test) and what days you can take it. I took the teas at the school I was applying too. I did not have to pay for it. I would wait for a response from the school before I paid for the test it may be offered for free through them.

I just called the school and we will know at the earliest at the end of June but very well could be later she said. She said they will not set up TEAS until acceptances are sent. School starts Augus 22nd. I guess I will plan my trip and if I am out of the country, I'll call and see what they suggest. I can't put my life on hold every summer on the crap shoot chance I'll get in. I didn't get in last year and this year there are more applicants. It is pure lottery. And the school has a limit on the times you can take test and a test is only good for 2 years. They want you to take the test after you get accepted. Not sure who thinks up these processes but just silly to me. Im over it. Will live as if I am not getting accepted and get on with it.

Mammanurse I can totally relate to what you are saying. You should go on your trip but keep close tabs on your status via phone or email. You have worked hard to try to get in so dont just let that go. I wish you the best.

Thanks, I will check in for sure. I am just done worrying about things I can't control. If it is meant to be, it will work out. That is all I can do.
