i wanted to wish all ya'll a happy boxing day, too.
i was most unfamiliar with boxing day until i viewed the link provided by fonenurse in the good morning thread. thanks, fone. i always thought it was equated with the sport of boxing. never dreamed it was actually about giving "boxes" of presents.

I was listening to the radio yesterday and they said that the tradition of Boxing Day started with St Stephen where people waited until the day after Christmas to give their gifts (not empty boxes, lol).
