Apr 3, 201016 yr LOL, Funny question. Being a first semester student, we are going through various checkoffs and were told that the hardest checkoff would be hand washing. It was. The Head-toe assessments, bed-bath..... a breeze. But hand washing.... the "proper way".... now that was tough!
Apr 3, 201016 yr Are you a CNA student? Perhaps it would be more beneficial to read about it in your textbook, rather than have the information spoon-fed to you? I'll bet you'll learn more if you look up the information yourself.
Apr 4, 201016 yr I watched a CNA training video on how to do proper hand washing. I'm not a CNA yet, but as a volunteer I try to always do proper hand washing. Interestingly, I had my hands analyzed for germs under black light (long story lol) after washing my hands using the CNA technique and I was told I had the lowest level of germs out of everyone thus far. So it does work! Go to youtube for good videos on it.
How many steps all together in medical hand washing?
