Half way through the semester- how is everyone?

I have totally lost my drive, and I still have half the semester to go!! Mid term grades are coming out this week and I am doing fine. I just have lost all steam. What do you do to keep motivated?

I start up another clinical in a few weeks and things are just going to get more crazy.

As far as forgetfulness goes, I went to the grocery store the other day and when I got back to my car I couldn't find my keys to open the trunk...turns out they were in the ignition with the car RUNNING! oops :)

These kinds of things are so good for the SOUL (of others!!)....what a hoot!!

Now you just need to thank goodness it was still there!!

Just started Psych....so far we have had 1 clinical but it was on campus and was all about therapuetic communication....we start actual clinicals on thurs. I was placed on the inpatient ward at a private hospital that they said is mainly shizophrenics and dementia patients. We have had 2 lectures but it was pretty bland stuff on communication, nursing process, etc. Next week we start actual disorders w/ eating disorders.

M/S 1 was fun. I got an A and I never thought going in that would be possible...considering all the horror stories about M/S 1. Anywho......6 more weeks and it's winter break:)

We don't do psych until 3rd semester. We have med surg all semester with lifespan clinical and clinical management. Both are on med surg floors. I have A's so far too, but I am losing steam and it won't kill me if I get B's. I need to let go of that A mentality. I recieved $5,000 in scholarships this semester, so GPA isn't as necessary for me now.
