Had spleen removed and want to be a nurse

I had my spleen removed years ago and would like to be a nurse. Do you think this may present a problem?

Never heard that having a spleen is a prereq for being a nurse. Having a good heart and nerves of steel, maybe...

shouldn't be a problem - just stay healthy

my husband has a fraternity brother who had his spleen removed after an MVA and is now a Secret Service man!!
