Hi all,

I have just been accepted into the new Accelerated nursing program at Gwynedd mercy University. It is a 15 months program. Anyone out there that was also accepted? Is there anyone in the traditional program, and also do you like it? Do you think it is going to be a good program? Any advice is welcomed, thanks....

So I got accepted to the absn program today and start in May! Im so excited now

Thanks! and of course! I have a 3.2 cumulative gpa currently(still hoping to bring that up lol) I graduate in May so I'm still taking credits but I finished my prereqs last semester and have a little over a 3.0 in my prereq gpa

Thank you for sharing! I can't believe everyone doesn't have a 4.0. I was going to consider LVN programs because my gpa is around 3.3 ish so I didn't think I'd stand a chance at getting into a nursing program and didn't want to suffer through rejection letter after rejection letter :(. I guess I'll give Gwynedd a try. Not gonna lie I've been putting off nursing for this reason 😑. I'll have to start believing in myself more. Thank you everyone!

Yes you do have to believe in yourself!! I was also putting off nursing because I didn't have a strong GPA, so I decided to apply anyway. I have gotten 1 rejection which I promised myself I would not let it get me down, because all I can do is just push forward and keep trying, and pray. :)

What is the cost of Gwynedd Mercy ABSN program?
