I have just been accepted into the new Accelerated nursing program at Gwynedd mercy University. It is a 15 months program. Anyone out there that was also accepted? Is there anyone in the traditional program, and also do you like it? Do you think it is going to be a good program? Any advice is welcomed, thanks....

Is there anyone who has already began the ABSN nursing program at GM? I'm curious to know how it is going. I am strongly considering GM ABSN & Drexel's ACE program. It seems very difficult to find information from students who have already begun. Can someone tell me how the classes/professors are? Schedule? Admission process? Actually price of the program? How you were able to pay? Are the facilities in Center City nice? Do you get breaks during the day? Someone help me lol.

Has anyone here applied for GM's ABSN program with a relatively low undergrad GPA & gotten accepted?

My undergrad GPA was pretty low because I was a D1 athlete, immature, & unsure what I wanted to do career wise. My major was bio. I have recently taken all the pre-reqs (most of which I haven't taken before) and received all A's. I just became CPR certified & took a CNA course. What do y'all think my chances are? Would appreciate any advice!! Thanks!

MY undergrad GPA is a 2.23 in Business. I was a D1 athlete as well and did not focus on my studies. I have a 3.41 GPA in my science prereqs right now and have been accepted into to the ASBN program. I am a Medical Assistant at a local hospital in Philadelphia (I chose the MA program so some else could pay for my second degree and have healthcare experience). I hope that helps kobrien15.

Hello have you heard back from them yet? I applied for May also and patiently waiting. Do you have all your perquisites done? I am taking a and P ll now and I think I still need BIO chem.

Did you hear back from GMU? I got an email yesterday that I got accepted, and now I got to figure out how I am going to pay this deposit. I may have to push my date to starting in August.
