GWU ABSN/VBSN Spring 2019 Cohort

Has anyone applied for the George Washington University Accelerated/Veteran's BSN program for the Spring of 2019?

Why not? I have heard great things and if you have prerequisites done I would say go for it! Wonder if extending the deadline means they need more students for the cohort...

Hi all! Long time lurker and have finally made an account to comment! Just wanted to give some insights for people still awaiting a decision. I applied on 8/19, "completed" (i.e., my recommendation letters were submitted and processed) my application on 9/7, and received my acceptance letter on 9/13 very early in the morning (8:00a). I have a friend who applied around the same time I did, and just got her acceptance letter this past week. So it seems they do their acceptances on a rolling basis rather than in big chunks. Hopefully this was helpful for anyone starting to get anxious!

Tomorrow is technically 6 weeks since the Sept. 1st apps were submitted...hopefully we hear something then!

That would be nice! I decided to call about the status for the first time since I applied. I was told my app is with the faculty so allow 1-2 more weeks. I was also told the Oct. 15 deadline extension was to get more students.
