Gwinnett Tech Nursing Program 2012 kaplan exam

Hey guys I have to take my kaplan exam next week thursday! :( yeaaaa freaking out! how was the exam for those that already took it?

Funny enough, as hopeless as my situation seems at this point, I'm as peaceful as i could ever be. Havent lost any sleep yet. God has been very good to me.

For all those in my shoes; what if you found out the deadline for 2012 fall admissions for the nursing program in another school was June 1st????? The downside? May involve an hour and a half drive if you live in the Gwinnett area.

I understand how you feel... I think all of us want this so bad!! But it is a very competitive program and only 60 people will make it.. i'v e been feeling so sad since people started talking about the Director's approval on their accounts and I didn't see that in mine. But I'll just wait until we get the official letters and hope for the best! Good luck yo you!!!

I get email updates on my phone sweety. I logged off on my laptop but it will seem like I am on because I do not log of on my phone. Dam girl, how you just call me out like that hahaha j/k but yeah, studying for psych right now.

Blessed78- I considered it before, and I would drive to make it happen. It's my dream and if I have to go to the ends of the earth I will make it happen!

Kamecee- HaHa!! I really hope you get in! You have been so uplifting and so supportive of everyone here! You just seem like a great person and a great asset to the nursing field! Fingers crossed that we will be classmates! :hug:

On an unrelated note, have any of you been invited to join PTK? If so, are you going to attend the induction ceremony? At the college I attended previously, I was in PTK, but no one was really involved in it. Is it different here at GTC?

So looks like I might not be going to sleep right now after all. Not really sleepy. LOL @NNYLK thank you sweet. I love meeting New people.. and times like this we just have to be here for each other. I guess I'll be hitting the refresh button all day tomorrow again. It would be so funny if they kept tabs of who logged into the school banner all the time and secretly made wagers of who they thought would lose it first lol I logged in and logged out more than 60 times. Yes I know, sad!!!

I seriously think they would if there was a way to monitor it!! I know I would!! lol! If the most neurotic about it made it in the top 60, all of us here would be there!! Haha!! :lol2:

I'm in PTK. I'm not very involved in it either. Most that I know that are in it don't participate much either. They send out emails with the upcoming events but other than that, it's not a huge thing. I guess it is what you make it and I just haven't had time to make it what I was hoping it would be.

I think more so the acknowledgment helps when trying to find employment. Also, bring able to put that on your resume as a new grad will help you stand out.
