Gwinnett Tech Nursing Program 2012 kaplan exam

Hey guys I have to take my kaplan exam next week thursday! :( yeaaaa freaking out! how was the exam for those that already took it?

Honestly, the reality is if they changed your program from Health Certificate to Assoc in Nursing I am 100% sure you are in. So you guys should really be happy and I am happy for you as well. Its just the waiting game for those who do not have that change. So Ill just continue to wait it out... :uhoh3:

I am normally a very resilient person, but being a nurse has been my dream.I know if I don't make it I just try again next year, it just makes me feel embarrassed and not good enough, you know? It also is hard because it is only once a year.

It's hard to get excited without a definite answer though. I'm also on pins and needles for my friends whose status hasn't changed yet. It's tough to spend so much time with others in the program, see how hard they worked, and then start to feel the reality that we're not all going to get in together. :sniff: Obviously, we already knew not everyone was going to get in, but it's a little sad to realize you might not be there with your close friends.

You are DEFINITELY good enough to even have made it this far! All of us are. It's just a small, competitive program. We don't know anything for sure yet. Either way, keep your head up and keep going after your dream. There's nothing to be embarrassed about if you don't get in this year. It might just be God's plan that you're not supposed to go to school here and other, better opportunities will open up to you elsewhere.

how many semesters is the program? i see papers saying four and some 5

I am in your same shoes. But do not feel embarrassed. We tried our best. We can't do more than that. Would it bother us if we are not accepted? Absolutely!! But brush it off girl. We will rise above our downfalls. This may be a minor delay, but we will reach our goal in the end, 100% sure of it!! Cheer up beautiful.:o

From what I gathered at the meeting, it's 4. But they did say they hadn't decided for sure if they were going to do a summer semester or not.

Hi all! I didn't get a change on my transcript either. I am not prepared to freak out yet... but they really need to hurry up and send out yes or no letters...cause I have had a stress headache for days!!!! arggghhhhh!
