Guyz..what motivated you to take up nursing??

I was really sick as a child and I always thought that the nurses at the hospital I was in were angels. Ever since then, I wanted to be a nurse. It wasn't until I was in my late 30's that I had the opportunity to do it. I haven't regretted a day of it.

I was motivated by similar circumstances. Originally pursued medicine. It didn't work out, but having seen all of those great nursing role models over the years, I knew which direction to go. Sometimes nurses not only help patients physically, but they can inspire as well. :)
