I took the Gurnick (Modesto) entrance exam this morning and passed, so now trying to get a spot in the night program starting next month. I did the FAFSA online and am also waiting for my (proof of) HS diploma to come in the mail... Hopefully fin aid will cover the tuition!
Anyone have exp at Gurnick applying for financial aid? Not sure I can get it because I'm still enrolled at my current college and the quarter ends on Dec. 15th... The pre-req class starts in Nov. I wonder if there is a payment plan.
Good for you that you didn't go to Gurnick. The PM program is terrible. It's a bit of a ripoff as their clinicals will be problematic. I'm in it. I'm halfway through and I regret doing this program. The admin is nice at my campus but the program is not great. For $30,000, please go somewhere else. When I finish the course (because I've invested so much already), I will write a review on this site.

I am starting Gurnick soon too...they are CRAZY busy because of last minute applications and trying to get student financial aid done before the April 11 prereq. start date! Take Christine2009's advice: call the main number in san mateo and keep trying! Everyone there is super-nice and they may be able to answer general questions for you or give you a direct extension or email address for who you need in the modest campus! Good Luck!
