Guilford Tech Fall 2012 Nursing Program

New to allnurses.com but, I just applied for Nursing School at GTCC and I am so anxious to find out what points are getting accepted! Just wondering how many have applied and what their point range was? That Tea's V was a butt Kicker for me! So anxious to get a letter!

Congrats to everyone that got in, and also to those with the high alternate numbers!!!

don't forget us in the 'teens. I'm dying, with all you getting in!!

LOL, yeah but I just don't want to get my hopes up! I really hope nothing went wrong in admissions. Ohhh and BTW, I just moved here last summer from Seattle, Washington! I took my Teas test over there and transferred my score. I didn't think it was too hard.. maybe the tests are different here on the east coast? But who knows.. I spent a really long time studying for it too, like months! Looking forward to meeting you all, HOPEFULLY, if I ever get my letter in the mail.. :banghead:

mogget, the teens are still great alternate numbers! :) i believe they go up to 40+!!! don't stress, i think you're in good shape!

I know your pain Mogget, it's so hard to keep waiting, but there's always hope, I was reading that sometimes half the class can be alternates, so that's some good news.

I got my letter last night! I am in! I have not been posting because I didn't want to obsess, but I am looking forward to meeting everyone this summer!!

Yes, this is the BLS (Basic Life Support) class for healthcare providers.

Congratulations, salphi! Welcome, and look forward to meeting you too. Personally, I would have obsessed on or off this forum. This forum helped me vent so I didn't drive my husband crazy with my worry. Thanks gals for being here! (And our one guy...that still hasn't introduced himself. LOL)

Was at school today ... Second floor hassle health and was informed they did not lower the pass rate for teas for nursing applicants for fall 2012 but they are lowering it

Went and had my physical this morning. 2 needles in one arm, 1 in the other, and some blood drawn (unrelated to the nursing physical). Feel like a pin cushion! I will have everything completed by this Saturday except for my immunization records. Still waiting on them from the military. Sure wish I knew where I put my shot record!! I have my kids, but not mine. :confused:

By the way, my name is Andy. I am very glad to be going to GTCC, as I live in Jamestown. I also work at Moses Cone Hospital. Just in case I didn't get into to GTCC, I appled to DCCC, Randolph & FTCC. I might actually consider DCCC, if I get accepted into their hybrid/online program.
